MUMBAI: Veteran film producer N N Sippy (75) passed away in Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital on Tuesday at 6.50 pm.
According to reports, Sippy was suffering from a heart ailment and was admitted to the hospital last week.
Sippy has been known for producing films like Woh Kaun Thi (1964), Sargam (1979), Kalicharan and Fakira (1976) and Chor Machaye Shor (1974) amongst others.
He began his career in Bollywood as a producer in 1959. Prior to that, for 10 years he worked in the industry in the area of film finance and distribution.
His first movie as a producer was Kaatil, which had Premnath and Chitra in the lead.
