Four film makers

MUMBAI: Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar, Dibakar Banerjee and Zoya Akhtar have come together to make a movie which is titled ‘Bombay Talkies’

Next year, May 2013 will be Indian cinema’s centenary. ‘Bombay Talkies’ is to be a tribute to these glorious 100 years of Bollywood. According to reports, each director has made a 20-minute film on the same concept of how cinema is an integral part of almost every Indian’s life and how it influences the nation’s masses.

"Yes, I am making a film on 100 years of Indian cinema. But let me clear this … it is not a documentary. It is a fiction film. I can’t talk much about the film till the producers make an official announcement on the same. But the film is directed by four of us – Anurag, Dibakar, Karan and myself." quoted Zoya to the press.
