MUMBAI: Gemini Studios debut film production Zor Lagaa Ke… Haiya is nearing completion.
The film is produced by Kartikeya Talreja and written and directed by Girish Girija Joshi.
It stars Mithun Chakraborty, Mahesh Manjrekar, Seema Biswas, Riya Sen, Sachin Khedekar, Raj Zutshi and Gulshan Grover with five kids playing stellar roles. It has music by Bapi-Tutul, lyrics by Amitabh Verma and cinematography by Hari Nair.
In the movie Riya Sen will be seen donning a nine-yard Maharashtrian sari. She is a village belle, playing a construction worker in the film. When the role was offered to her, there was no reluctance, and the actress says she immediately agreed to do the role. "I always wanted to play a village belle," says Sen.
