Gitanjali’s line showcased in Dus Kahaniyaan

MUMBAI: Gitanjali Group has entered into a 50-50 joint venture with the Italian brand ‘Morellato and Sector group, through its subsidiary Armo Netherlands Finance B.V. The new collections under this will be seen in Sanjay Gupta’s forthcoming film, Dus Kahaniyaan.


 


Gitanjali Group’s agreement with ‘Morellato and Sector group provides for the distribution of all the watch and jewellery brands of the Italian group.


 


The total investment in this joint venture is approximately $15 to 20 million. These brands will be distributed through the various Gitanjali Lifestyle outlets and Watch MBO’s (Bezel) across the nation.


 


Gitanjali Group chairman Mehul Choksi said, “We strongly believe that in the changing retail scenario, there is a huge potential for growth in the branded jewellery and lifestyle segment, as it offers consumers a guarantee of quality that they can trust.
