MUMBAI: GV Films Ltd has inked an MOU with SunBeam Pictures for production of an animated film Om Murga, which will be the first ever animated film in the annals of the Tamil film industry.
This film is based on the epics of Lord Karthikeya, also known as Lord Muruga.
The release of Om Murga is expected in early 2007. Plans are also to release the film in other languages including foreign languages in order to have a wide reach and cater to an international audience.
