HBO lines up films across genres in September

MUMBAI: This September HBO has lined up a slew of multi genre films for the viewers. With blockbusters  like The Break Up, American Dreamz, RV, The Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift, Death Warrant, Vertical Limit and 3 Ninjas Kickback, the channel plans to keep the viewer loyal to its offerings. 


 


Get a glimpse into the complexities of love and relationships in The Break Up premiering on 28th September at 9pm. Brooke (Aniston) is pushed to the limits by Gary (Vaughn) and calls their relationship quits. When neither of them is willing to move out of the condo they share, the only solution is to continue living as hostile roommates until somebody caves. 


 


HBO ‘See It First’ on every Saturday night at 9pm is a collection of movies that are premiering for the first time on Indian Television. Blockbusters premiering this September on HBO See It First include American Dreamz starring Dennis Quaid, Hugh Grant and Mandy Moore. This movie is about the US President Joseph Staton (Dennis Quaid) who on the day of his re-election decides to read the newspaper for the first time in four years and how it changes his life. 


 


RV starring Robin Williams and Jeff Daniels is the story about Bob Munro (Williams) who rents RV motor home to bring his family on a trip to the Colorado Rocky Mountains, but things just keep going wrong for the family, with hilarious effects! 


 


In the latest version of Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift meet Sean (Lucas Black), your average troubled teen. Hobbies- racing cars and picking fights. After getting himself into more trouble than he or his mother can get him out of, he is sent to live with his father stationed in Tokyo, Japan. Also catch Jarhead and Stay Alive in this section and make your Saturday’s exciting.


 


In HBO Friday Blockbuster watch Monster-in-Law on September 21, 2007 at 9pm. Monster-in-Law is a 2005 romantic comedy film, directed by Robert Luketic. Charlie Cantilini (played by Jennifer Lopez) is a dog walker from Venice Beach, California, who meets surgeon Kevin Fields (played by Michael Vartan). Kevin asks her out, and Charlie believes that she’s finally found the right man. Blockbusters like Nanny McPhee and Batman Forever are the other star studded offerings on HBO Friday Blockbuster platter this September. 


 


HBO Hero of the Day will include action movies such as Vertical Limit, After the Sunset, Death Warrant and Serenity airing on September 3, 10, 17 and 24 respectively at 9.00pm while every Wednesday HBO’s In Control will include movies like Hudson Hawk, Dukes of Hazard and Solo airing on September 5, 12 and 19 at 9.00pm. 


 


The Sunday Super Hits at 8pm include hits like XXX:The Next Level, 3 Ninjas Kickback, The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!, Single White Female 2: The Psycho and Proof of Life.
