MUMBAI :Fardeen Khan is among several Bollywood actors who will attend the premiere of Akbar Khan’s Taj Mahal _ An Eternal Love Story,’ will be shown in Lahore, Pakistan on April 26.
When we contacted Tiwari secretary to Fardeen Khan he confirmed the news saying “Uncle Akbar has given official invitation to Khan family to attend the premiere, so Fardeen and his entire family is going to Pakistan.”
Ashok Vashodia secretary too Hrithik Roshan confirms that Hrithik and his entire family had received the invitation but Hrithik is not going to attend as dates are clashing with Yash Chopra’s Dhoom II and Rakesh Roshan will be not able to go as his mother-in-law is admitted to hospital.
Filmmaker Akbar Khan said his movie that Ministers of Culture from both India and Pakistan would be among the special invitees.The Bollywood epic is about the 19-year marriage of Shah Jahan and his wife Mumtaz, who died from complications arising from the birth of their 14th child. The movie also tells the tale of the Moghul empire.
While the movie dwells on the famous 17th-century marble mausoleum, located in Agra , it also depicts the rivalry for the Moghul throne.Khan said he hoped to arrange a special screening for Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf. “We might have a special screening for the president, but we are awaiting confirmation on that that because they have to consider his security.”
The movie will also be shown April 27 in Karachi , Pakistan.
