MUMBAI: Producer Viveck Vaswani has refuted various media reports, which say that he has sold his upcoming film Dulha Mil Gaya for Rs 250 million (Rs 25 crore) to a Dubai based businessman.
However, Vaswani has denied any such deal taking place. Speaking exclusively to Businessofcinema.com, he says, "I have no clue where these rumours start from. No one called me to clarify before publishing these stories. I don’t know from where the media gets false and baseless information regarding the price of my movie. I have not sold my film to any Dubai based businessman. I know there is huge speculation around my film as it is Shah Rukh Khan’s only release this year. However, if and when there are any developments, I will make an official announcement."
Dulha Mil Gaya has been directed by debutant Muddassar Aziz and stars Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen and Fardeen Khan. The shooting of the film is complete and 18 September has been zeroed in as the release date.
