‘I plan to undertake only one or two films a year’ – John Abraham

MUMBAI: Actor John Abraham has decided to break his silence on all the rumors that has been doing the rounds. There has been a lot that has been written about Abraham not getting many film offers. However, according to the actor, all that is not true.

Abraham tells Businessofcinema.com, "I would like to say that all that is being written and said is not true. I have taken the decision to do just one film a year or a maximum of two films a year. I would rather do quality films that are entertaining and commercially good, than sign too many films at a time."

Abraham has an exuberant style statement that often makes heads turn wherever he goes, along with a smile worth dying for. Whether he is sporting a casual beach look, like in Dostaana where he wore the famous yellow shorts or a formal corporate look, he manages to retain his charm. That’s probably why he is also steadily climbing up the endorsement ladder. The actor has endorsed products like Castrol, Yamaha, Garnier and Pepsi and the Van Heusen formal wear for which he shot recently.

Just back from London, after completing his forthcoming film, 1-800- Love, Abraham says, "I am not allowed to speak about the Van Heusen TVC because I have signed a contract, so I would not like to talk about it because it’s not right."

Besides his endorsements, he has films like Abbas Tyrewala’s 1-800-Love and Vishal Bharadwaj’s Saat Khoon Maaf in his kitty.
