Serpentine queues can be viewed outside cinema-houses even as the film commenced its historic second week-run. Advance bookings for the film continue to be unprecedented. The movie has mustered an unheard-of Rs 690 million worldwide in its first week and continues to be a one-horse race at the box-office.
Rakesh Roshan was very thrilled. “Yes Krrish has hit a jackpot, its 69 crore in one week, I have also increased the prints by 12 in India,” says a jubilant Rakesh. This money-spinner from Rakesh Roshan is shattering all previous records and is well on its way to becoming one of the biggest hits ever in the history of Indian cinema.
