MUMBAI: India TV chief of bureau – Maharashtra Syedain Zaidi has joined Lehren Entertainment as head of news and operations. Lehren Entertainment is scheduled to launch a showbiz news and entertainment channel in mid-April.
Zaidi has over 14 years of experience in news and TV production. He was responsible for setting up India TV’s bureau in Mumbai. Zaidi was also involved in setting up Sahara India’s various TV ventures.
Zaidi says, "Our channel will be the first-of-its-kind entertainment news channel, which will have most of its programming live. I have especially picked a team of professionals with a background in television news, be it technical or editorial. We will have a unique programming style, which will be revealed when we are on air within a month’s time."
