The festival will be conducted from 18 October to 15 December. Short film maker Nikhil Acharya will be the festival director.
The duration of the film submitted should be between one and 10 minutes. Makers can shoot films using their digital cameras, camcorders, or even their cell phones. There are four categories under which the films can be submitted – Fiction/Experimental, Documentary, Animation and
Indyarocks head of strategy Dr. Vishnu said, “There is a huge amount of digital content that gets created in the offline world and it usually never gets the kind of audience it deserves. Indyarocks film festival gives an opportunity to everyone to display their creativity not only to their family and friends but a whole new audience across the world.”
