Mumbai: PVR Pictures and Aamir Khan Productions’ Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na has pocketed a collection of Rs 600 million (Rs 60 crores) from its 50 days all India theatrical run.
The film was made in a budget below Rs 100 million (Rs 10 crores). The profit until date from the film’s theatrical business in India alone is said to be in the range of Rs 270 million (Rs 27 crores), which will be distributed between PVR Pictures and Aamir Khan Productions.
Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na was released worldwide on 4 July and completed 50 days on 22 August. It is still running in various multiplexes across the country.
The film stars Imran Khan and Genelia D’souza in lead roles. It is directed by writer turned director Abbas Tyrewala.
