MUMBAI: The 54th Idea Filmfare Awards 2008 that was held on 28 February at Yash Raj Studios, saw Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Jodhaa Akbar winning the best movie award. On the other hand, actors Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra bagged the award for Best Actor male and female for Jodhaa Akbar and Fashion respectively.

The show was hosted by the young guns of Bollywood – Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan along with Deepika Padukone, Konkona Sen and Farhan Akhtar led by Karan Johar.

The awards ceremony saw performances by Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Shahid Kapur, Bipasha Basu, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Jackie Bhagnani. Farhan Akhtar and his band Rocked On the night to a pulsating grand finale.
