MUMBAI: John Abraham is quite the daredevil. To unveil the look of his forthcoming film – Jhootha Hi Sahi, which is directed by Abbas Tyrewalla, the actor was supposed to climb up a billboard and unveil the look.
The billboard in question was at a height equivalent to a four storey building. While John was thrilled at the chance of doing an adventurous stunt, he wanted to do so without safety gear. However, the producer and director of the movie Madhu Mantena and Tyrewala respectively refused to take such a big risk and were very firm on John doing the jump with all the safety precautions in place.
But because of the safety gear during the climb, John looked a little awkward. Once John climbed the billboard, he unveiled the first look of Jhootha Hi Sahi.
But the surprises didn’t end there; the first look of Jhootha Hi Sahi was such that no one could recognize John. His look in the film is very different. So to show that it was really him in the picture and not another photoshopped miracle, John actually donned his look from the film. By wearing a shirt with glasses.
John said, "The unveiling of the film was a thrilling experience, different from the usual unveilings I’ve done in the past."
Commenting on his look in the film, he added, "My look in the film is very different and not something anyone has seen me in before. Jhootha Hi Sahi is an amazing film and I’m very excited about it. Abbas Tyrewala has done an awesome job."
