MUMBAI: PepsiCo India Holdings (Frito-Lay divison) has appointed Kareena Kapoor as the new brand ambassador for its snack food products. Kapoor joins the likes of Saif Ali Khan, Juhi Chawla and MS Dhoni as brand ambassadors for Pepsico’s snack food products.
PepsiCo India Holdings (FritoLay Division) director, marketing Deepika Warrier said, "We are proud to welcome Kareena Kapoor into the Pepsico family. Kareena’s vibrant persona, pan-India appeal and her confident attitude makes her a great fit for our brands."
Kapoor added, "It is a privilege to be associated with the snack leader, PepsiCo Foods India. I am particularly excited to introduce the new communication campaign for Pepsico’s Snack Foods. I look forward to a long and fulfilling association with the brand."
As a part of the new campaign, Kapoor shall be seen starring in a new television commercial that will go on air by mid-November 2008. The new campaign will also include radio and outdoor promotion including on-ground activities.
