MUMBAI: After the runaway success of the comic caper Bheja Fry, comes its sequel Bheja Fry 2.
The film will see the protagonist Bharat Bhushan back to fulfill his long cherished dream of becoming a singer. To further his ambition, he enters a game show hoping to win a cash prize with which he can make his own music album. Eventually Bhushan goes on to win the competition, which also gifts him a free stay on a cruise ship and that’s when the madness starts.
Kay Kay Menon plays a certain flamboyant business tycoon in the film.
Kay Kay Menon’s spoof is on a business tycoon known famously for his flamboyant style. Kay Kay’s character Ajit Talwar encounters Bharat Bhushan (Vinay Pathak) on the cruise in a complete cat and mouse chase.
Producer Mukul Deora said, "Kay Kay’s character is named Ajit Talwar and he is completely opposite of Bharat Bhushan (Vinay’s character). I would say that Kay Kay’s character is what anyone’s perception of a rich famous guy would be."
Starring Vinay Pathak, KK Menon, Minissha Lamba, Suresh Menon and Amol Gupte, Bheja Fry 2 is directed by Sagar Ballary and is slated to release on 17 June, 2011.
