Kevin Sorbo to star in romantic comedy Three Times A Lady

MUMBAI: The Hercules: The Legendary Journey star Kevin Sorbo is up for role in the romantic comedy Three Times A Lady. Actor Muse Watson is also tapped to star. The script was penned by co-writers Darlene Lofgren and Barbara Kerr Condon. Condon will also produce. Lofgren and Barbara Kerr Condon recently co-wrote Just Desserts.

Sorbo recently completed Julia X, a 3D psychological thriller due in theaters in November 2010, and Soul Surfer, with Dennis Quaid, Helen Hunt and Carrie Underwood. Surfer is based on the life of Bethany Hamilton, the teen surfer who lost her arm in a shark attack and is scheduled to be released Fall 2010. Sorbo traveled to Malta to shoot an Italian/American financed feature called, The Hit due for release in February, 2011. What If….with Kristy Swanson and John Ratzenberger, scheduled for August 2010. The King of Mykonos, an Australian comedy was released down under in May 2010 and debuted as the number one movie in that country.

In Three Times A Lady, Sorbo plays Rev. Shepherd, a sincere man of God, who is the voice of reason after hearing a series of colossal misconceptions about a member of his congregation. With comedic timing, great lines and heavenly observation, his mission is to restore the truth.

“I like that a new twist is taken on a standard romantic comedy making the focus of this movie more circumstances. The humor in this film is universal. It gets you to laugh at the foibles of finding love later in life. I’m excited to be part of the cast," says Sorbo.
