Kunal replaces Shahid in Rohit Shetty film

Says Shetty, “Kunal Kapoor is playing Shahid’s role in the film. We had date problems with Shahid, and no other issues. I wanted his dates from May onwards, but Shahid is committed to Aziz Mirza and asked us to postpone the shooting till November. We could not push back the shooting due to other commitments, and so had to sign on Kunal.”

Consequently, Kunal will be paired once with Nana Patekar, who is his co-star in the forthcoming UTV film Hattrick.

Shetty’s yet untitled film is one of the bouquet of films being made by Ramesh Sippy productions, backed by Adlabs. Shetty has earlier directed Zameen in 2003 and Golmaal-Fun Unlimited in 2006.
