MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan participated in the special episode of Zee’s Titan Antakshri on 27 February, 2007 for the visually challenged participants. Bachchan enthralled kids and audiences with recital of a poem “Main Prakash Hoon, Ajar Amar Andhakar Ek Nirav Gunjan†by Khalid Hashmi. The underlying theme of the poem was that blindness in not a drawback.
Later two visually challenged girls, Mansi and Mamta, from Smt. Kamla Mehta Dadar School for the Blind, came forward to present a letter written by them for him. The letter had a special message for Bachchan and his ailing mother.

Titan Antakshari has devoted a six-part mini series for socially deprived sections of the society that includes the old age homes, street children and visually challenged people. The series is coined as “Music For A Cause.†Telecast will start from 23 March to 7 April, 2007.
