MUMBAI: Saregama finalists Aamir Hafiz and Tanmay Chaturvedi lent their voices for B.R. Films’ Bhootnath, under the baton of music directors Vishal-Shekhar. Writer-director Vivek Sharma and the music directors saw them singing in the television programme Little Champs on Zee TV and liked them immensely and decided that Hafiz and Chaturvedi are the ideal choice to sing two children’s songs in Bhoothnath.
They auditioned them both and immediately recorded two songs – one track is hip-hop while the other is a song depicting children fighting. Hafiz sings the song with none other than superstar of the century Amitabh Bachchan.
Bhootnath, scheduled for release on 9 May, is being produced by BR Chopra and Ravi Chopra and written and directed by Vivek Sharma. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Juhi Chawla, Satish Shah, Rajpal Yadav and others with Shah Rukh Khan making a special appearance. The lyrics are by Javed Akhtar and cinematography by Vishnu Rao.
