London shines at Locations 2007

MUMBAI: Locations 2007 saw cities and countries like New Zealand, Austria, London, Czech Republic, Indonesia, Mauritius, Kenya and Australia participating in the two day seminar held in Mumbai recently.


 


With a view to promote and encourage these various locations an awards evening was also hosted.


 


In the category for Best Presented Foreign Location in an Indian film, director producer Vipul Shah bagged the award for his movie Namastey London.


 


Thailand and London jointly won an award for most number of film shootings in their respective locations. While 12 films including Namastey London, Bhagam Bhag, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Baabul etc were shot in London, as many as 13 films were shot in Thailand.


 

The award for the Best Package for an Indian Filmmaker from a Foreign Destination was given to Abumusa Resort in Malaysia.
