MUMBAI: Maya Entertainment academic wing Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) has expanded its operations in Mumbai and has inaugurated its eighth animation training centre at Malad.
Situated on Marve Road, the MAAC centre has state-of-the-art facilities for students to learn 3D animation and visual effects.
MAAC vice president and west zonal head Bhavika Chouhan said, "MAAC is pleased to add a new center to cater to the need for high end animation training. Animation is no longer seen as being just for kids. It is a fast growing multi-billion dollar industry. Apart from being a key element of movie and television blockbusters, animation is used across the board in various industries as a visual communication medium. A profession in animation and visual effects is a serious career option that requires strong technical skills and in-depth creative training. At MAAC, we are committed to provide these skills to our students."
