MUMBAI: The South Indian Bank Ltd has appointed Malayalam film actor Mammootty as its brand ambassador.
Mammootty has won several national awards for films like Mathilukal and Oru Vadakkan Veeragadha (1989), Vidheyan and Pothanmada (1993) and Dr. Ambedkar (1999). He was also awarded the Padmasree in 1998 for his contributions to Indian Cinema.
A top-notch actor down South, some of Mammootty’s films are: Pothan Vava, Karutha Pakshikal, Barghavacharithan Moonnam, Ghantam, Mayavi, Ore Kadal and Palunku amongst others.
