MUMBAI: Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s film production banner Maruti International, whose Dhamaal starring Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Ritesh Deshmukh, Javed Jaffery and Ashish Chowdhary is releasing this Friday (7 September), are also ready with a Bhojpuri film.

The Bhojpuri film, which is titled Golmaal Ho, will be released a month after the release of Dhamaal.

Throwing more light on Golmaal Ho, Thakeria says, “The film is complete and ready for release and stars Ravi Kissen in the lead. It is a fun film and we are looking at some date in October for the film’s release.”

Bhojpuri films are catching the fancy of big producers in Bollywood and rightly so considering the profitability of such films. The next big Bhojpuri release in the coming months would be Ekta Kapoor’s Gabbar, a film said to be another tribute to Sholay. Ravi Kissen, who plays Gabbar in the film adds, “I watched Ram Gopal Verma Ki Aag and believe me, my film is far superior and believable in all aspects.”
