MUMBAI: McDonald’s India (west and south) and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance have come together to bring alive Shrek-3, the animated feature film.
Through this promotion, the two companies will offer kids visiting all McDonald’s outlets in West and South India a host of Shrek-centric activities.
Customers can currently take home any one of the eight characters from the film – Shrek, Fiona, Little Wooden puppet, Ogre baby, Donkey, Dronkey, Puss – in – Boots, and Gingy – on purchase of a McDonald’s Happy Meal.
Beginning 30 May 2007, the ‘Shrek Mania’ will also have an added on ‘Say Cheese with Shrek’ promotion which will be launched in association with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance. With each Happy Meal customers will receive a coupon that will give them a chance to pose with the Shrek-3 family. The photograph of the child with the Shrek family will be framed and personally delivered to them at their doorstep by an ICICI Prudential representative. Hungama Promo Marketing will be handling the backend logistics for the promotion.
