MUMBAI: Mediaone Global Entertainment has acquired a theatre at Achrapakkam near Chennai. The theatre, which is situated two kilometers from Melmavathur, Chengalpet, will be refurnished with cushioned seats and centrally air conditioned couple with digitized sound and projection systems.
The other theatres to be opened during the second half of 2009 are at Kellambakkam, Trivelangadu, Prgadam, Thirutani, Puditurpettai and Minjur.
On 12 January, Mediaone had opened its Sri Balaji Theatre DTS at Kanchipuram. The theatre has already screened Tamil actor Vijay’s film Villu, followed by Arya film Naan Kaduval and is currently screening Arundhathi.
