Moser Baer’s Shaurya to roll by June end

MUMBAI: Moser Baer’s maiden production venture Shaurya, will go on the floors by the end of June 2007.

The film stars Rahul Bose and Minnisha Lamba and is being directed by Samar Khan. Says Moser Baer CEO entertainment Harish Dayani, “Shaurya has an army backdrop. The film is about an individual, a youth who believes in bringing about a change and wants to fight it out.” The plot may sound similar to the Hrithik Roshan starrer Lakshya, which was directed by Farhan Akhtar, but Dayani says Shaurya is nothing like Lakshya.

The film will be shot extensively in north India. “The estimated budget of the film is Rs 60 million (Rs 6 crores),” adds Dayani.

Shaurya’s music has been composed by Adnan Sami and the lyrics have been penned by Javed Akhtar. Moser Baer is eyeing a November end release for the film.
