Mumbai: Mukta Arts’ Red Carpet Films Ltd has signed four directors to make Hindi films for the banner. The first film will be rolled out by October-November this year.
The directors signed on board include Shivam Nair (Ahiste Ahiste), Sohail Tatari (Summer 2007), Ajay Chandok (Nehlle Pe Dehlla) and Marathi film actor and director Mahesh Kothare.
Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, Red Carpet Films managing director Manish Goswami says, "The scripts for all the films are in final stages. Currently the cast and credit are being finalized. Whichever film is ready first will go on floors. If all goes well then we may even put two films on floor by this year end."
Goswami further adds, "These are medium budgets films in the range of Rs 7 – 10 crores (Rs 70 – 100 million). We will be casting new talents as well as known actors, but not A category actors."
