Mukta Arts to make two films a year with Whistling Woods students

MUMBAI: Mukta Arts, which promotes Whistling Woods International (WWI), will be producing at least two feature films a year from 2010, employing the maximum number of WWI alumni.

 

These will include actors and technicians like executive producers, directors, cinematographers, sound engineers, editors, scriptwriters etc.

 

Mukta Arts has already announced its first feature film – a romantic comedy titled Paschim Express – With Love, starring four main lead actors namely Sahil Mehta, Mannat, Vikas Katyal and Priyam Galav from WWI. The movie will be directed by Sunny Bhambani and photographed by Pushkar Singh, both WWI graduates.

 

The film, which will be produced by Kajal Malhotra of Mukta Arts, has screenplay-dialogues written by Divyanidhi Sharma. Paschim Express-With Love will go on floors in May 2010, and is slated for release on Diwali this year.

 

Additionally, another film, which is a crime comedy, is expected to be launched very soon, with the second batch of WWI students.
