MUMBAI: Multivision Multimedia India will be releasing two Hollywood movies Milk and The Reader in February.
While Milk will release on 20 February, The Reader will release on 27 February.
Milk has got eight nominations in the upcoming 81st Academy Awards. Sean Penn who plays the lead part of Milk is nominated for best performance by an actor in a leading role. The director of the movie Gus Van Sant has got the nomination for the best director. The others nominations are actor in supporting role, achievements in costume design, film editing, music written, best motion picture and screen play.
On the other hand, The Reader is based on Bernhard Schlink’s best-selling novel. The movie has got five nominations in the 81st Academy Awards. Kate Winslet in nominated in the best actress category along with Stephen Daldary in best director award. Additionally, the film is up for five BAFTA awards, and has won Winslet best supporting actress honors from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and the Screen Actors Guild. Winslet also got the best supporting actress in the 66th Globe Awards for her fabulous work in the film.
