MUMBAI: Actor Murli Sharma, seen recently in Anurag Kashyap’s Black Friday as tough cop Virender Vani, is currently reading the book by the same title, that the film is based on.
Although actors usually read books their films are based on as part of their homework, Murli did no such thing, because “Anurag was so precise about what each actor was required to do, that there was no need to read the book!”
However, when the actor saw the end result, he was so impressed, that he immediately bought himself a copy of the book. Even though he isn’t much of a book freak, Murli was sure he wanted to read this book, and actually finished reading it within two days!
