Music director Raghav Sachar thinks acting

MUMBAI: After singers Sonu Nigam, Himesh Reshammiya and Abhijeet Sawant, this time music director Raghav Sachar wants to try his hands at acting.

A few days back, filmmaker Kumar Mangat offered Sachar a part in his next venture Haal-E-Dil. But Sachar turned it down thinking he won’t fit the role, he says. "I think I am not yet ready for becoming an actor. Acting for music videos is different and acting for films is different. Although I have been offered many films before, which I have declined, it is only now that I am considering the acting profession seriously."

Sachar has started taking private acting classes at his residence. "As I am busy with my other projects, I am left with very little time to go to classes or to attend any workshops. So I have hired a teacher who comes and teaches me acting at my convenient time."

"Singing and creating music is my passion. I will never let go of that profession. Music composing will not take a backseat even if I am doing good acting," said Sachar.

Sachar recently composed music for Mangat’s One Two Three. Before that he sang a hit song Manzaar from the film Sunday. He has also released his album Play it Loud and will also be singing for Haal-E-Dil.
