MySpace India appoints Koshal as senior biz development manager mobile

MUMBAI: MySpace India has appointed Amit Koshal as senior business development manager – mobile.

Koshal has five years of experience in the mobile value added services like content and gaming with specialisation in the field of mobile social networking services.

In his new position, Koshal will be responsible for spearheading the mobile strategy for MySpace India. MySpace India Mobile has seen a 50 per cent growth in usage over the last six months.

MySpace India country manager Hari V Krishnan said, "Mobile access to MySpace has been our global focus, and in India we feel it will be even more pivotal. We are thrilled to have Amit onboard with his vast experience in the mobile VAS space. With his leadership, we look forward to building out an exciting range of mobile offerings which will redefine the mobile social networking space in India."

Prior to joining MySpace India, he served as Head of Business Development for Asia Pacific & Latin America Regions with ACL Wireless Limited. Before ACL, he was with Reliance’s Mobile Gaming company – Jump Games.
