MUMBAI: Writer Neeraj Pathak, who has films like Deewangee, Jurm and Ghaath to his credit, write and direct a movie titled ATS (Anti Terrorist Squad) for Sunny Deol.
“I have signed ATS as a writer and director for Sunny Deol’s banner made in association with K Sera Sera. This movie will star Sunny along with three more heroes,” confirms Pathak.
“ATS is an international project, which will be also released abroad with subtitles. The story is not only on the Anti Terrorist Squad investigation on the 7/11 attack in Mumbai, but on all the episodes investigated by ATS. I have already met the RAW team in Delhi and they have provided me with information. I met some ATS officer who are investigating the 7/11 attacks and within a few days I will also be meeting the Joint Commissioner of Police Mr Avate. ATS will also throw light on how to tackle terrorism and political pressure. The movie will go on floors in January 20007.”
Neeraj Pathak made his directorial debut with Gumnaam, which is still awaiting release. The film stars Dino Morea, Mahima Chaudhary and Suman Ranganathan in lead roles. Pathak is also scripting Anil Sharma’s Apne, starring Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol.
