On its first day, Lage Raho Munnabhai opened to a 100% collection in Mumbai’s Eros theatre in its three shows; Maratha Mandir (Grant Road) in its three shows managed to collect Rs 1,00,219. What’s more, none of the shows were houseful. The other film that was released on 1 September was Jaane Hoga Kya?, which finally managed to hit the turnstile this week after a period of six years. However, it opened to a lukewarm response.
