MUMBAI: The Nielsen Impact Award has honored New York City Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting commissioner Katherine Oliver in
Mumbai.
"It’s an honor to receive this award in Mumbai," said Oliver.
The award was presented by The Hollywood Reporter publisher Eric Mika. "As a part of the economic development initiative our aim is to reach out to
the industry and figure out a way in which Hollywood and the Indian film industry can collaborate more," Mika said.
Additionally, Oliver also honored Indian film industry veterans Yash Chopra and Manmohan Shetty for their contribution to cinema.
Also present at the event were Shatrughan Sinha, Ramesh Sippy, Pamela Chopra, Pooja Shetty, Jagmohan Mundhra, Anuj Saxena amongst others.
The event was hosted by THR, Enarr Capital and Movie Manthan.
