Mumbai: One More Thought Entertainment’s (OMTE) next film Dasvidaniya, in association with Lemontea Productions, has been slated for release on 31 October. The film has Vinay Pathak in the lead along with Rajat Kapoor, Neha Dhupia and Saurabh Shukla. The film has been directed by Shashant Shah.
Dasvidaniya is a bitter-sweet situational comedy about a man Amar Kaul (Vinay Pathak). One among the millions of people in the pool of Mumbai’s ever increasing population, Amar’s existence is easily forgettable. His innocence and his obsession for making his daily ‘to-do’ list every morning is what motivates him to look forward to the next day.
And then begins a journey of a lifetime for Kaul, where he sets out to write the ‘List of 10 Things to do Before he Dies’. The list that would make his life worthy before it actually ends. It’s a roller coaster comic ride with Amar who symbolizes people caught in the web of life, always wanting to do the simplest of things but put them on hold. Dasvidaniya talks about that one realization which is required to put things in perspective and understand the real meaning of one’s life.
Apart from Vinay Pathak, Rajat Kapoor and Neha Dhupia, stars of the film include Saurabh Shukla, Gaurav Gera, Suchitra Pillai, Sarita Joshi, Suresh Menon, Purvi Joshi and Ranvir Shourey.
Dialogue and story is by Arshad Sayed, art direction by Rakesh Morchale and Arun Verma is the director of photography. Music has been given by Kailash Kher.
