Mumbai: Filmmaker Onir, who directed films like My Brother Nikhil and Bas Ek Pal has reasons to rejoice. He has been selected on the jury of India’s Largest Short Film Festival namely Fulmarxx Shorts Fest at Ahmedabad.

With entries from all over the world, FulMarxx festival is scheduled to be judged by director Onir alongside Tanuja Chandra and Bharat Dabholkar among others. Onir is set to leave for Ahmedabad to judge the festival, which is expected to take place on 26th and 27th of April.

Onir has been busy with the post production of his forthcoming movie Sorry Bhai starring Sanjay Suri, Chitrangada, Sharman Joshi, Shabana Azmi and Boman Irani. "It is hard to take out time at this post production stage to make available to judge the festival, but I believe in discovering young talent and love to go that extra mile for it. Hence have joined Fulmarxx Short Fest to judge the works of the youth," says Onir.
