Oscar winning technicians on Om Ganesha

MUMBAI: The 3D animation film on Lord Ganesha titled Om Ganesha will have Oscars award winning technicians working on it. These technicians have been associated with films like Harry Potter, Vertical Limits and King Kong amongst others.


 


Malaysia based director Sharad Sharan, who has just completed one of the costliest film called Diva says, “The production values are world class. Close to 60 per cent of the film will be made on phoenix laser based 52 camera motion capture facility and 40 per cent will be key framed animated. The key framed animation will be framed out to Germany, UK, Australia , Philippines, Singapore and India . The sound will be done in Japan,” says Sharan.


 


“The sound effects will be done on almost 1000 to 2000 tracks in Japan by top award winning sound professionals there. Tak Ogawa, who has to his credit films and games like Metal Gear, Xenosaga Episode 2, Parasite Eve etc will design the special sound effects of Om Ganesha,” he adds.


 


“The overall movie sound engineering n mixing will be handled by Masayoshi Okawa, known for films like Brother, Parasite Eve and Monoke – Hime. Another well known Japanese music composer, Keisuke Shinohara will compose the music of my film. He has done music for an animated feature film like Arashi No Yoruni and Daichi No Iro and composed for many teleseries and theatre projects. The work on this project has been on for the last three years but I have started animation work from the last one month. The budget will be around $ 4-5 million and I am making it for my Indian audience. Om Ganesha will be released all over next year,” Sharan concludes.
