MUMBAI: Producer – director of the critically acclaimed movie Parzania – Rahul Dholakia – won the Ramnath Goenka Memorial Award at the Screen awards held recently.
The award is one that recognizes excellence in cinema to a filmmaker who dares to make a difference in society with his work. Goenka, one of the pioneers in journalism was a man who defied all odds to make his statement and fight for justice, and this award is a tribute to his spirit.
