Mumbai: Pix will premiere Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives)-starrer dramedy TransAmerica.
The movie also stars Kevin Zegers and Graham Greene and will be aired on 28 September at 8 pm.
Written and directed by Duncan Tucker, TransAmerica deals with universal themes such as parenthood, acceptance and love in urban America. The movie is an original and well-crafted script that deals with serious issues in mainstream society with a dash of subtle humor.
Transamerica tells the story of a transsexual woman, Bree, well-played by Huffman who is about to embark on a sex change operation until a phone call changes her plans and unfolds a journey of self- discovery and adventure.
