MUMBAI: Director Mohanji Prasad latest Bhojpuri venture, Rasik Balma, is slated for a June 2007 release.
Says Prasad, “Rasik Balma has a good tale, humour, thrills and romance. It is a family drama and power-packed masala entertainer. For the third time (after Banke Bihari MLA and Ram Balram), the hit pair of Ravi Kissen and Rambha are being paired together in the film, which is slated for release in the first week of June in Bihar.”
Made under the banner of Veena Entertainment Pvt Ltd in association with Emmar Movies, the film is produced by Venkatesh and Mohan Rayna. The film co-stars Swati Verma, Tiku Talsani, Vivek Shaque, Upasna Singha and Sambhavna Seth in an item number.
Mohanji Prasad had earlier produced Ghar Dwaar in 1988, followed by Bade Ghar Ki Beti in 1989. Till date, Prasad has directed over 15 Bhojpuri films.
