Pritish Nandy receives Karamveer Puraskar 2008

Mumbai: Pritish Nandy received the Karamveer Puraskar 2008 on 26 November from iCONGO-Indian Confederation of NGOs at the Right Every Wrong Conclave held at Satyagraha Mandap, Rajghat, New Delhi.
 
iCONGO integrates many NGOs working in different spheres and the Karamveer Puraskar is annually given to individuals who have been leaders of change and excelled in doing work that contributes to society and promotes important social causes. Nandy was awarded for his contribution to socially responsible media and outstanding film making.
 
The short listing of the entries is carried out by an expert panel from iCONGO comprising representatives of prominent NGOs based on a process set and created by Mercer and Grant Thorton.
