Priyanka Chopra takes a quick break from Anjana Anjani

MUMBAI: Priyanka Chopra has got a two day break from the shooting of Siddharth Anand’s Anjana Anjani. The shooting that started from 15 November in Bangkok, saw the actress fly out to the tourist city of Phuket, the following day.

Before her departure Chopra had said, "The shooting of this film was supposed to start in October, but due to unavoidable reasons the schedule was delayed. From three months, the schedule has now been shortened to two months and so we will be shooting round the clock to complete it in January." But such was the case that Chopra got a two day holiday, and the actress immediately flew in to Mumbai to spend time with her family.

The unexpected break saw Chopra meet up with brand managers for some endorsement deals. With a film with the Yash Raj banner, a film with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, one with Farhan Akhtar and another with Vishal Bharadwaj, Chopra has lots of reasons to look forward to in the new year.

But right now, the actress is taking it easy. After putting in several years without a break, Chopra has succumbed to poor health. Her doctor parents taking protective measures, packed her off for a three week holiday in September first to the States and then to Bangkok and Bali. Chopra said, "I have to learn not to drive myself so much. I am a perfectionist and therein lies the problem as there is so much pressure. But I love the hectic pace. That’s what drives me. But for my parent’s sake and for my health, I am learning to take it easy."

Chopra will resume shooting in Bangkok by this week for Anjana Anjani. While in Mumbai, she also attended a party on Sunday evening hosted by Mukesh and Nita Ambani in honour of Sachin Tendulkar completing 20 years in the cricketing world.
