Mumbai: PVR Cinemas has announced the opening of its brand new multiplex at Goregaon in Oberoi Mall. With six new screens, PVR Goregaon will offer to moviegoers a luxurious movie watching experience. With this announcement, PVR will now have 17 screens in Mumbai.
PVR began their foray into Mumbai in 2006, with the state-of-the-art multiplex in Juhu. Buoyed by the tremendous success of PVR Juhu and PVR Mulund, which were opened in 2006, PVR had been aggressively looking at increasing their foothold in Mumbai.
PVR Limited chairman and managing director Ajay Bijli said, "We are proud to open our new multiplex in Goregaon. This is our third multiplex opening in Mumbai and we remain committed to serving the entertainment needs of all our patrons in Mumbai."
He further added, "With six new screens at Goregaon and a total capacity of 1783 seats, we will make the cinema viewing experience of every Mumbai movie goer memorable. We have taken special care this time to cater to the every need of our patrons and their families."
He elaborated that at PVR, comfort of the patron and their family is of greatest importance. A Kids Play Section has been designed keeping in mind a child’s requirements. Infact, the candy bar at PVR Goregaon has been designed on the lines of an island. Delicious snacks to relish will also be part of the offering.
