MUMBAI: PVR Pictures will be releasing Academy Award winner Rachel Weisz’s The Whistleblower in India on 21 October, 2011.
The thriller is directed by Larysa Kondracki, written by Kondracki and Eilis Kirwan.
The movie is a drama based on the experiences of Kathryn Bolkovac, a Nebraska cop who served as a peacekeeper in post-war Bosnia and outed the U.N. for covering up a sex scandal.
The movie won four awards and & three nominations at the various awards.
