MUMBAI: PVR Ltd. will be distributing its first co-production venture Thoda Sa Aasman with Aamir Khan.

A spokesperson from PVR’s Bombay distribution and exhibition office says, “Thoda Sa Aasman is a children’s film. Like exhibition, we have our distribution network since March too. In order to book a territory, the distributors have to cough up a large sum as minimum guarantee amount in advance. We are looking into both aspects. When we have over 70 plus exhibition halls across the country, we can look forward to release the film ourselves.”

He further adds, “Being a producer, distributor and exhibitor, one has complete control of the film. There is exploitation for theatrical and non-theatrical rights. With increasing technology, there are many new revenue streams, like Pay TV, DTH, etc., which can contribute over 40 per cent to the gross earnings.”
