Mumbai: PVR Cinemas will screen alternative content in the form of carnatic music at its select cinemas in Mumbai, Delhi and Gurgaon in January/February next year.
They will screen a 110-minute carnatic music concert titled Margazhi Raagam. The concert stars two of the leading carnatic musicians–TM Krishna and Bombay Jayashri. It released in Chennai on 18 December in Satyam Cinemas.
Margazhi Raagam – the first ever carnatic concert produced for cinema – has been conceptualized and directed by Real Image Media Technologies founding director Jayendra Panchapakesan and produced by Aghal Films.
