MUMBAI: Films including Sarafina, The Stick, Cry, The Beloved Country, Paljas, The Long Run, Red Dust and Yesterday are part of the South African retrospective at the week-long ninth International Film Festival of Mumbai starting from 8 March 2007.
Festival director Sudhir Nandgaonkar says the focus of these films will strengthen the ties between South Africa and India, at a time when India is celebrating 100 years of Satyagraha by Mahatma Gandhi in the country.
